Sabah Akbani Presents Research at UH 2013 Undergraduate Research Day

Sabah Akbani, a University of Houston computer science major from Sugar Land, Texas, presented research at the ninth annual Undergraduate Research Day.

Akbani's research project, titled "Assistive Game Development to Provide Applied Behavior Analysis Training for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder," received an award for outstanding poster presentation.

Akbani was among 130 students who presented research via poster presentations covering a wide variety of topics, such as natural sciences, health sciences, engineering, social sciences, architecture, classical studies and finance.

The students' poster presentations were displayed throughout the Elizabeth Rockwell Pavilion and The Honors College, both located in the UH M.D. Anderson Library.
