Dema Shobaki Presents Research at UH 2013 Undergraduate Research Day

Dema Shobaki, a University of Houston biochemical and biophysical sciences major from Houston, Texas, presented research at the ninth annual Undergraduate Research Day.
Shobaki's research project, titled "Increasing the Efficiency of CuAAC Reaction in Living Cells," received an award for outstanding poster presentation.
Shobaki was among 130 students who presented research via poster presentations covering a wide variety of topics, such as natural sciences, health sciences, engineering, social sciences, architecture, classical studies and finance.
The students' poster presentations were displayed throughout the Elizabeth Rockwell Pavilion and The Honors College, both located in the UH M.D. Anderson Library.
